McIntyre Takes Down Rollins

Drew gains the initial upper hand. Drew manages to get in some trash talk. Both get some offense in before Rollins manages to hit a dropkick that barely nudges Drew. Drew keeps the advantage as he hits some powerful moves on Rollins. A couple of two counts follow as the fans try to rally Rollins. Rollins eventually gets back in the fight by sending Drew over the top rope and connecting with a suicide dive. Again it doesn’t seem to do Drew much damage. A few near falls follow until a beautiful sequence of reversals follow.

Rollins eventually connects with a superkick and a Falcon Arrow but only manages a two count. Ziggler interferes and eats a Stomp for his troubles but the distraction is enough for Drew McIntyre to hit the Claymore kick for the win.

Winner: Drew McIntyre (He gets to accompany Ziggler for his match at Extreme Rules)

Verdict: Great match and storytelling

Overall Verdict: This was one of the better RAWs in recent memory. Brock Lesnar was understandably absent but thanks to the great feuds happening now, he wasn’t missed. Sets up the RAW side of Extreme Rules very nicely.
