Edge was cleared to return to the ring a few weeks ago, but the former World Champion only returned to the ring to spear Elias at SummerSlam and has since been surrounded by rumors. It was reported that the Rated R Superstar was in Pittsburgh on “WWE business” a few weeks ago but the reasons were never made public.

Edge’s in-ring return has been rumored ever since his injury status was updated and according to a report by Ring_Rules on Twitter, it could be at Crown Jewel in less than two weeks’ time when he becomes a member of Team Hogan.

Charlotte Flair Set To Turn Face

One of the biggest shocks of the WWE Draft was when Charlotte Flair was moved over to Monday Night Raw since rumors suggested that FOX has requested The Queen on SmackDown instead. Charlotte lost her match to Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch on Monday night and according to The Wrestling Observer, the plan for Charlotte moving forward is to turn face.

Charlotte has worked well as one of WWE’s best female heels, so it will be interesting to see how WWE handles this face turn moving forward.

Goldberg Set To Return To Raw

Goldberg hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since he was able to defeat Dolph Ziggler back at SummerSlam and seemingly redeem himself for the match he had against The Undertaker in The Middle East. It was thought that Goldberg had walked away from the company following this match since he went undrafted in the WWE Draft last week.

According to The Wrestling Observer, there were a number of stars who will return despite going undrafted, and Goldberg is one of them.

“They’ll (John Cena, The Undertaker, and Goldberg) be used as needed, although Goldberg is a Heyman guy so RAW looks most likely,” he said via Sportskeeda.

Future Plans For The Raw Women’s Division

The Raw Women’s Division is stacked right now since the likes of Charlotte, Becky Lynch, The Kabuki Warriors, and Natalya have all been drafted over to the brand and now there are a number of plans in place for the women. According to The Wrestling Observer, Natalya could be set to turn heel, while Kairi Sane and Asuka could be set to work separately with Becky Lynch.

“Even though Flair worked as a heel against Lynch, the plan is for her to be a babyface. There is a clear imbalance and heel weakness, although it won’t be if Asuka and Sane work singles, and there has been a clear set up for both to work with Lynch. There’s also the possibility of Natalya as a heel, which was the plan last year to lead to a major program with Ronda Rousey until Vince McMahon nixed it when Jim Neidhart died and he felt Natalya shouldn’t be turned.”

Cris Cyborg Reportedly Reached Out To WWE About A Match At WrestleMania

Ronda Rousey successfully made the switch over to WWE back in 2018 and it appears that Cris Cyborg wanted to follow in her footsteps and make the cross over to WWE a few months ago, but her team backed out. According to a report by Brad Shepard, Cyborg’s team has approached WWE once again and is now looking to make her part of next year’s WrestleMania.

WWE Protecting AOP and The Street Profits

WWE Crown Jewel takes place in less than two weeks’ time and it appears that the company could be protecting some stars by not involving them in the show. When the huge nine-team tag turmoil match takes place to crown the Best Tag Team In The World in Saudi Arabia, both AOP and The Street Profits won’t be taking part.

According to a report by The Wrestling Observer, AOP and Street Profits have been left off the show to protect them, which means that there could be big plans for the two teams moving forward.

“Both AOP and The Street Profits are not in this match largely to protect them at this point.”

As ever, wrestling fans are reminded that the above are just rumors and should not be taken at face value as facts.
