All Elite Wrestling’s Television Deal

Professional wrestling’s upcoming hot promotion “All Elite Wrestling” reportedly has multiple TV network offers on the table. Last year’s “ALL IN” event (September 1) impressed many broadcasting networks and without that show, the new promotion backed by Tony Khan (son of NFL Jacksonville Jaguars billionaire owner Shahid Khan) would probably not exist.

AEW may, however, not go live with a TV deal; the company may instead resort to online streaming platforms or follow NWA’s business model of working with partners and generating buzz online for a steady growth.

Chris Jericho Likely Part Of All Elite Wrestling

WWE icon and current IWGP Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho is the hottest veteran free agent in professional wrestling today. The 9-time WWE Intercontinental Champion has been widely rumored to be linked with All Elite Wrestling ever since news of the promotion broke the IWC.

Recently, Y2J shared a photo on Instagram thanking AEW’s financier Tony Khan in the caption. This has further strengthened fans’ beliefs that The Ayatollah of Rock’n’Rolla is likely on AEW’s boat.

Double Or Nothing

All Elite Wrestling made an official announcement on Twitter regarding “Double or Nothing“. The announcement stated that the company would be conducting a free rally next Tuesday (January 8) at TIAA Field at 5 P.M. ET.

More details will be revealed on that day. The ground is the home of the Jacksonville Jaguars but what’s interesting (besides the timing) is the fact that the location is just two blocks away from the Jacksonville Memorial Arena where WWE will tape SmackDown Live that same evening. As per PWInsider, Double or Nothing will take place this spring.

All Elite Wrestling Talking To Free Agents

All Elite Wrestling has been talking to a lot of free agents lately. Trevor Lee and DJZ are two names that are expected to gain attention from both AEW as well as WWE. Several WWE talents are also interested in the upcoming hot promotion and it remains to be seen which current Superstars jump ship to AEW.
