*Note: These are just rumors. Some of these might get confirmed at some point of time and some others might just stay as rumors. Let’s take a look at the WWE rumor roundup of the week*
Shawn Michaels to wrestle a dream match at Wrestlemania
Since Michaels’ return to active wrestling as a part of DX, reports suggest that HBK doesn’t want the Crown Jewel to be his last wrestling match after having one of the most legendary retirement matches at Wrestlemania 26 during his previous run.
If everything goes well at the Crown Jewel then HBK will be looking for a last hurrah at the upcoming Wrestlemania.
Since a lot depends on Shawn Michaels, nothing is set in stone with regards to opponents but names like Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles have been thrown around as possible opponents.
International performance centers to be opened
The revenue flow from NXT has increased massively over the last year and WWE is looking at ways to invest it in foreign markets.
One of the ways they plan to do this is by opening up international performance centers. This could give rise to more regional versions of NXT similar to NXT UK. NXT shows are also expected to be given a longer airtime in the coming days.
nWo reunion imminent
WWE has already begun promoting the nWo reunion at the end of this month and this points to two things.
The first is that Hulk Hogan will become a regular fixture on WWE shows possibly as a general manager.
The second is that the nWo might even be involved in a match with a tag team from the current generation which is yet to be finalized.
Becky Lynch impressing a lot of people
Even though her heel turn is not going as WWE wanted, many higher ups are very impressed by the way Becky Lynch is dealing with it all.
One of them is Vince McMahon who is very impressed and has reportedly asked many new talent to observe and learn from Becky Lynch. Also, there are no plans of a double turn as yet and WWE is sticking with Lynch as a full-fledged heel for now.
NXT stars to be present at WWE Evolution
WWE Evolution will also play host to many women from NXT. They will be present at the venue but whether they will have any in-ring segment is yet to be confirmed.
They could be there just to learn the art of pro-wrestling or it could be a way for WWE to introduce new talent to the main roster with Candice LeRae being a prime candidate for the transition.
