Samoa Joe has been commentating on Monday Night RAW over the past few weeks while Dio Madden was kept off-screen to sell the injuries he sustained in an attack at the hands of Brock Lesnar. Reports suggested that Vince McMahon didn’t want Madden to return to commentary which is why Joe has been in his place over the past month.

According to a report by the Wrestling Observer, this past week’s episode of RAW was Joe’s last run on commentary and WWE is expected to unveil a new commentator on the final episode of RAW of the decade on Monday.

Erick Rowan was moved over to Monday Night RAW as part of the WWE Draft and has since been given a new character where he’s protecting something inside a cage that he regularly brings to ringside. This is considered to be a huge push for Rowan, who is fresh off a reunion with Luke Harper, who was recently released.

According to the Wrestling Observer, Vince McMahon is fully behind Rowan’s current push, so expect the spin to be something quite interesting.

Daniel Bryan walked into WrestleMania 35 as the WWE Champion, but KofiMania was running wild, so much so that Bryan himself actually requested that he drop the Championship to Kingston as part of the show. According to Tom Colohue on the most recent episode of Dropkick DiSKussions, The Planet’s Champion wanted to lose the title to Kingston because he was so behind his push.

“KofiMania was definitely a very strong one. You talk about the poetic justice that was taking the title from Daniel Bryan. From day one, the beginnings of that storyline, the gauntlet match, Daniel Bryan was in and out of Vince McMahon’s office begging to lose the title to Kofi at WrestleMania. He was so far behind his fellow, really wanted to see that happen,” via Sportskeeda.

Randy Orton Rejected AEW Contract

Randy Orton dropped a number of hints earlier this year on Social Media when it came to the fact that he wanted to jump ship and join AEW, he then went on to sign a new contract with WWE which led many fans to believe that Orton was just playing the WWE Universe, but this wasn’t the case.

According to a report by the Wrestling Observer, AEW offered Orton a contract but he wanted as much as AEW Champion Chris Jericho and the company were not willing to offer him the same deal, which is why he signed up for another five years with WWE.

WWE Set To Push Five RAW Talents

Paul Heyman has had a positive impact on Monday Night RAW over the past few months and a report by Wrestling Observer Radio now claims that The Advocate for The Beast Incarnate now has some huge plans for a number of stars on the red brand.

“They have [people] that they’re trying to get over. You can see them every week. It’s Aleister Black, it’s Ricochet, it’s Buddy Murphy, it’s Charlotte Flair and it’s Drew McIntyre. They want to get these people over. They want to elevate these people. At least there’s a plan. I rather at least there’d be a plan than just this scattershot nothing where you can watch and think ‘they got no plans.’ At least there’s something going on. They’re attempting to start to build something for the future.”

As ever, wrestling fans are reminded that the above are just rumors and should not be taken at face value as facts.
