WWE Rumor Roundup: Bray Wyatt to Raw, Paige Teases Return, Full-Time Contract for Aalyah

Bray Wyatt/The Fiend Heading to Raw

The 2020 WWE Draft kicked off last night with the big moves seeing Seth Rollins, Rey Mysterio, Dominik, and Murphy heading to SmackDown while AJ Styles was the only big star to make the move over to Raw.

Ahead of the draft last night, WrestleVotes reported that the plan was for Bray Wyatt to head to Raw while Seth Rollins moved to SmackDown, it appears that this could still be the overall plan. It’s also likely that if Wyatt makes the move over to Raw then Alexa Bliss may follow.

WWE Set to Reintroduce Fans to the Amway Center

It was revealed earlier in the week that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis had allowed fans to be in attendance for upcoming sporting events once again. It’s thought that when WWE is given the green light the company is set to begin allowing fans back into the Amway Center with many journalists predicting that this could happen as early as November.

It’s unknown how WWE will begin to reintroduce the WWE Universe but it’s thought that specific safety measures will be put in place.

Angel Garza Injury Not Thought to Be a Serious One

Angel Garza suffered a knee injury back at Clash of Champions which has seemingly sparked the end of his run alongside Andrade. Last night on SmackDown it was made clear that Garza was remaining on Raw when he was one of the red brand’s draft picks, but at present Andrade’s future is unknown.

The Wrestling Observer noted that Garza’s knee injury isn’t thought to be a serious one and the former Cruiserweight Champion could be back on TV within a couple of weeks.

Aalyah Mysterio Could Be Offered Full-Time WWE Contract

Aalyah Mysterio has been introduced to the WWE Universe as part of her current storyline with Murphy and it appears that the 19-year-old has already been able to impress Vince McMahon. According to a report by WrestlingNews.co, Mysterio could be offered a full-time contract by WWE and could be involved in a number of segments each night moving forward.

While Aalyah wasn’t named as part of the draft, it’s expected that she has also moved over to SmackDown alongside her father and brother Dominik.

Uncertainty and Frustration Backstage in NXT

NXT has recently gone through a huge change since the brand was forced to move from Full Sail University to the Capitol Wrestling Center ahead of their Takeover 31 event.

According to a report by Fightful Select, there is a lot of frustration and uncertainty backstage at NXT at present because of the recent change of location and because of the recent injuries. The likes of Karrion Kross, Finn Balor, Kyle O’Reilly and Ridge Holland have recently joined the list of injured stars which has left those in charge in a difficult situation.

The report went on to note that “most in NXT pretty well agree that those in charge are in a rough position.”

Paige Teases In-Ring Return

Paige was forced to retire from in-ring competition in WWE back in 2018 and has since been seen as both a General Manager of SmackDown and the manager of the Kabuki Warriors.

Paige has been away from TV over the past few months, but recently posted an update on Instagram where she talked about the fact that her neck felt wonderful and asked if she was able to come back yet.

WWE Hall of Famer Edge was able to return from a career-ending neck injury back in January, could Paige be next on the list?

As ever, wrestling fans are reminded that the above are just rumors and should not be taken at face value as facts.
