<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Shotzi Expected to Be Sidelined for &#8220;Significant Amount of Time&#8221;</h2>



<p>Shotzi suffered a knee injury as part of the recent NXT tapings earlier in the week, which meant that her Women&#8217;s Championship match against Lyra Valkyria was called off. </p>



<p>Shotzi has since been replaced in the Elimination Chamber qualifying match and last night shared an update on Twitter for the first time. <a href="http://www.patreon.com/fightful" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">Fightful Select</a> recently revealed that there is a belief that Shotzi will be sidelined for a &#8220;significant amount of time&#8221; even though there was no timeline added to the update. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Baron Corbin Expected to Return to WWE&#8217;s Main Roster</h2>



<p>Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker are the current NXT Tag Team Champions, but Breakker was recently signed to the SmackDown brand. It seems that the star will be working both brands for the time being, but Fightful Select recently noted that there are plans to bring Baron up to the main roster with Bron. </p>



<p>The site claimed that there have been talks in WWE about bringing Baron back to SmackDown and naming the team Spear Of Days. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Rock vs Roman Reigns Was Still Expected to Main Event WrestleMania</h2>



<p>The Rock joined The Bloodline last night on SmackDown but it seems that this was different from the company&#8217;s original plan. </p>



<p><a href="http://www.f4wonline.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">The Wrestling Observer </a>recently noted that there were people in WWE who expected there to be a negative reaction to The Rock&#8217;s return at the beginning of the month but hoped Cody Rhodes&#8217; endorsement was enough to push fans to accept The Rock and Roman Reigns as the WrestleMania main event. </p>



<p>The company didn&#8217;t anticipate how negative the reaction would be, which is the reason for the recent changes. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Nikkita Lyons Suffered Another Injury This Week </h2>



<p>Nikkita Lyons has had quite a career plagued by injury and it seems that she is once again on the sidelines. Whilst there have been no details revealed by The Wrestling Observer about the injury, it comes just weeks after she made her return to WWE. </p>



<p>Lyons suffered an injury late last year which forced WWE to write her off TV with a parking lot attack, but she made her return in December and has now suffered another injury. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Reason for The Rock&#8217;s WWE Return Is Seemingly Being Debated</h2>



<p>It has been noted by several sources over the past few weeks that The Rock has made his return to WWE to set up a major WrestleMania angle to turn the focus from the current sex trafficking allegations that are plaguing Vince McMahon. </p>



<p>McMahon has since stepped down from his role in WWE but it appears that the damage has already been done to the company. According to a report by The Wrestling Observer, this was not the reason for The Rock&#8217;s return. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">WWE Could Be Set for Many More Major Changes</h2>



<p>WWE has gone through a number of changes over the past few months stemming from the sale of the company back in September. It seems that there are many more yet to come since <a href="https://pwinsider.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">PWInsider</a> recently noted that now Endeavor is in control of WWE “the old traditions and plans are out the window in favor of whatever they deem to be the best moves for the company.”</p>



<p>It&#8217;s unclear what this means in terms of day-to-day operations of the company, but could mean that WWE veers away from traditional plans on the Road to WrestleMania. </p>
