Four WrestleMania Matches are Now Reportedly a Lock

Elimination Chamber takes place this weekend before WWE then presents Fastlane next month in the build-up to WrestleMania 37. In recent months, the WrestleMania card has gone through several changes, but according to a report by WrestleVotes, there are four matches that are currently being discussed for the show.
These include Randy Orton vs Bray Wyatt, Edge vs Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship, Bianca Belair vs Sasha Banks for the SmackDown Women’s Championship, and Bad Bunny’s tag team match.
WWE Championship Match at WrestleMania Remains Open

This weekend at Elimination Chamber, Drew McIntyre defends his WWE Championship inside the Chamber structure against five other men. While the Scottish star is currently the favorite to walk out victorious, there is room for a shock here since WWE still hasn’t locked in a WWE Championship match for WrestleMania.
As of writing, WrestleVotes noted that the WWE Championship match remains open, as does everything else on the WrestleMania card that wasn’t mentioned above. WWE has the added headache of this year’s event being over two nights, which means that there have to be two main event matches.
Bo Dallas Reportedly Preparing for Life Outside of WWE

Bo Dallas hasn’t featured on WWE TV in almost two years, and recent updates regarding Dallas’ status suggest that the company has no desire to bring the star back in the near future.
According to The Wrestling Observer, the former NXT Champion is now preparing for life outside of WWE since he has a farm with fellow WWE star Liv Morgan. The couple has also started a family real estate business and this has sparked rumors that they could be dating, even though neither star has confirmed this.
Dallas and his wife Sarah Backman divorced back in 2019.
SmackDown Romance Angle Has Been Dropped

Throughout 2020, there was a romance angle pushed forward between Aalyah Mysterio and Murphy, which seemingly came to an end a few months ago when Murphy disappeared from WWE TV.
The former NXT Champion hasn’t appeared on SmackDown in 2020 and awaits creative direction from the company, but a recent report from The Wrestling Observer claims that when he returns he will be alone.
Despite rumors that Murphy and Aalyah could have been looking to marry on SmackDown, the angle has now been dropped.
“It was just an angle dropped. There’s no backstory or behind-the-scenes story on it. I guess they had no idea where to take it and thus dropped it.”
WWE Reportedly Has Plans for Davey Boy Smith’s Future

The son of WWE legend The British Bulldog has reportedly signed on the dotted line for WWE and could be one of the companies newest set of Performance Center recruits.
According to The Wrestling Observer, the company already has plans when it comes to the British star’s future and it could mean moving him over to the NXT UK brand.
“It’s not clear where Smith Jr. would wind up but at least a few months ago the U.K. brand was being talked about the most, but he could wind up anywhere.”
WWE Didn’t Try to Hide Royal Rumble Surprises This Year

There were several surprises in this year’s Royal Rumble matches, even though Edge announced his participation ahead of the events.
The likes of Victoria, Jillian Hall, Torrie Wilson, Carlito, and Christian were all included in their respective matches and according to a report by Fightful Select, the company didn’t hide any of the legends backstage.
“At least one more was just simply backstage on Sunday, and nobody really thought anything of it, because WWE has legends around with regularity. We were told this Royal Rumble was much more laid back than in recent years.”
Traditionally, WWE would ensure that the surprises were also surprises for the superstars in the match, but this year the legends were part of rehearsals.
As ever, wrestling fans are reminded that the above are just rumors and should not be taken at face value as facts.
