Adam Cole’s WWE Contract Reportedly Not Ending Soon

WWE NXT Champion Adam Cole has had a stellar run in WWE over the past four years, winning all possible titles on Wednesday nights. Cole crossed one year as NXT Champion last week, and successfully defended the title at NXT Takeover: In Your House last night.

Despite his tremendous success, rumors of Cole leaving WWE surfaced last week, as his contract was said to be ending in August this year, according to a report by Wrestling Inc.

However, those rumors have been put to rest after PWInsider‘s latest scoop, which said that the leader of the Undisputed Era has nearly eighteen months left on his contract.

“In regard to rumors we’ve been asked about regarding the status of Adam Cole in WWE, we are told he has well over 18 months left on his current deal.”

Cole joined WWE in 2017, along with Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish, as part of TUE, with Roderick Strong joining the faction a while later.

Cole was rumored to be leaving for AEW once his contract ends, as the company is home to his girlfriend Dr. Britt Baker, along with his former Bullet Club buddies.

He may join the company sometime in the future, but it certainly won’t be for the next eighteen months.
