Amway Center Has Reportedly Not Agreed to Allow Live Audience at WWE Shows

News broke this week that WWE had come to an agreement with the Amway Center in Orlando that will allow them to broadcast their shows from the arena.

The first reports speculated that having a new, larger venue for their shows would allow WWE to bring back live audiences. However, a report from SpecSports 360 has nixed that idea.

According to Jon Alba of SpecSports 360, WWE has a use agreement that will allow them to hold shows at the Amway Center through October 30. But the agreement doesn’t allow fans into the building.

“Barring an amendment in the agreement, no live fans through October, but WWE gets arena access for all events through then,” writes Alba.

During the last episode of SmackDown, it was already announced that the next episode of SmackDown would not be airing from the Performance Center, though the Amway Center was not officially announced as the venue.

It’s believed that SummerSlam will now be in the Amway Center as well as the future episodes of Raw and SmackDown. NXT, however should return to the NXT Arena at Full Sail University.
