Backstage Plans for Braun Strowman on Raw

Braun Strowman landed himself in trouble after he headbutted Adam Pearce on Monday Night Raw. This move wasn’t taken lightly by Pearce and he suspended Strowman for his unprofessional behavior on Raw.

On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that this week was the beginning of Strowman’s heel run in the company. Even though Strowman seemed to be working as a heel for a while now, the company, however, considered him as a babyface.

Previously, the WrestlingInsider also reported that the current plan is to put The Monster Among Men against Drew McIntyre at Tables, Ladders, and Chairs pay-per-view in a WWE Championship match.

Next week, AJ Styles, Riddle, and Keith Lee will face each other to decide McIntyre’s next challenger. If we take Meltzer’s words into account, then most probably there will be another Braun Strowman angle on Raw and somehow, he’ll insert himself into the WWE Championship picture.

Strowman isn’t happy with his suspension and he called out WWE for their backstage politics on Twitter.

“Really? You’re gonna suspend me for what expecting what I’ve earned? Everyone and their brother knows what I’ve done to get here and I’ve more than earn a title opportunity. To hell with this place & all the backstage politics BULLSH**!!! #ImDoneFollowingOrders #EveryoneWillFall”
