Charlotte Flair hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since June 22nd when she was attacked by Nia Jax backstage and suffered a “broken collar bone.”
The former RAW Women’s Champion has since taken some time away from the ring and has been able to undergo elective surgery during her time away.
There were recent reports that claimed that WWE had discussed an idea where the company was looking to pair The Queen and her real-life fiance Andrade together upon her return, but according to a report by Inside The Ropes, this isn’t the case.
The site reports that this idea didn’t get far enough to be pitched to Charlotte Flair herself and WWE reportedly has an entire plan “locked-in” for Flair when she makes her return to the company.
InsideTheRopes goes on to report that Flair insisted that there be a long term plan in place for her before making her return, which is expected to be part of the 2021 Royal Rumble.
Andrade has recently undergone his own elective surgical procedure which is why he has been missing from WWE TV.
It’s being reported that the former United States Champion’s in-ring future is expected to be completely separate from Charlotte’s.
