Becky Lynch Was Reportedly Pregnant While Defending Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 36

This week on Monday Night RAW, Becky Lynch announced her pregnancy and relinquished the RAW Women’s Title in a midst of joy and sadness. The Man crowned 2020 Women’s Money In The Bank winner Asuka the new champion and left the ring with a tear in her eye.

Lynch’s arch-rival, Shayna Baszler doesn’t seem too happy about her pregnancy. The Queen Of Spades fired shots at the immediate ex-champion during a backstage promo last night. Both women had an intense title feud heading into WrestleMania 36 that kicked off with Baszler’s cannibalism and concluded with Becky’s successful retention at the Show Of Shows.

On PW Insider Elite audio, Mike Johnson revealed that Lynch worked WrestleMania 36 while pregnant. Her baby is due in December which means the conception took place in March.

“When she wrestled Shayna Baszler at WrestleMania at the WWE Performance Center she became the first-ever WWE performer that I know of to work a WrestleMania while pregnant.”

The Man has to drift away from the ring for a while but the good news is she is now going to embark on a new journey through motherhood.

“It makes her a hell of a warrior, but it also might explain why that match was not the physical war that we all expected and a physical brutal monster of a match. Obviously, the finish there was a little safe and a little weird and that match did not live up to what a lot of people think it should have been, but in hindsight, that makes a lot more sense and kudos to everybody involved.”

At this point, it’s unknown whether Becky would return for WrestleMania 37. Her singles match with Ronda Rousey is yet to happen, and given she didn’t actually lose the RAW Women’s Title, it indeed sets her up for a grand return during ‘Mania season next year. The good news is the WWE Universe will see The Man as a mom the next time she wrestles in the ring.
