Brock Lesnar had a rocking 2020 in WWE, as he appeared on almost all the RAW episodes leading up to WrestleMania including wrestling for a long duration at the Royal Rumble.
Lesnar has not been since his loss to Drew McIntyre on the second night of WrestleMania 36, but it looks like the Beast Incarnate is going to return quite soon.
According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, Lesnar is expected to be a part of SummerSlam in August, which is currently set to take place in Boston, MA.
The COVID-19 pandemic has forced WWE to change quite a few plans, and it is unclear whether the show will take place at the location. If the situation doesn’t improve, WWE might be forced to move back to the Performance Center for the PPV.
Lesnar’s nemesis, Drew McIntyre, is currently set to take on Bobby Lashley at Backlash next week. Lashley, with MVP by his side, is rumored to be in line for a WWE title run soon, which could lead to a Lashley vs Lesnar matchup.
Lashley vs Lesnar has been a dream match for WWE fans for a long time, and could finally take place this Summer. However, SummerSlam is still two months away and it will certainly be interesting to see who Lesnar goes after next.
