Brock Lesnar Not Expected to Head Back to UFC, Tony Khan Comments on His Chances of Joining AEW

Brock Lesnar isn’t expected to head back to WWE anytime soon, since the former Universal Champion opted to allow his current contract to expire and isn’t prepared to sign a new one at present.

Instead, The Beast Incarnate is enjoying some time alone with his family during the current pandemic, but there have been rumors that Lesnar could be heading back to UFC now that he’s clearly done with WWE.

According to a report by Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer, there isn’t a move to UFC on the horizon for Lesnar anytime soon, since the former WWE Champion has yet to take the proper steps to join UFC’s drug-testing system for the fighters or make any kind of contact with Dana White.

It was also noted that Lesnar’s wife Sable, who’s a former Women’s Champion in WWE, isn’t a fan of MMA which could hold Lesnar back from making his return.

Many fans have also speculated that Brock Lesnar could make an appearance in AEW, which was something that came up in the recent conference call with President Tony Khan.

It appears that Khan is being coy about the idea of pursuing Brock Lesnar, but could be open to having the former WWE star in AEW.

“I can’t comment on that at this time but I’ve enjoyed Brock’s work for many years. He’s a great fighter & a great wrestler. I don’t think people talk enough about what a great worker Brock Lesnar is.”
