Brock Lesnar On Hiatus Till Royal Rumble

Brock Lesnar retained his WWE Championship against Rey Mysterio in a No Holds Barred match this past Sunday at Survivor Series and it looks like The Beast is now done for this year. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Lesnar is currently on a hiatus and won’t be appearing until January.

Lesnar is back on hiatus until probably around January. His next show is the Rumble so he’ll be back when it comes to shoot his angle for that show.”

Per rumors, Lesnar would be walking into WrestleMania 36 with the WWE Championship, meaning he already has a guaranteed victory over his opponent at Royal Rumble. Who The Beast faces at the event is anyone’s guess, but it’s safe to assume that the title showdown will be highly combustible as WWE won’t risk booking a squash match for the first major pay-per-view of the new year.

EC3 Sidelined With Concussion

EC3‘s career has gone deep south since his main-roster call-up earlier this year and things haven’t gotten any better for the 4-time WWE 24/7 Champion despite fans backing him on social media.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that EC3 is out of action for suffering a concussion in late September.

EC3 remains out of action with a concussion suffered at the end of September.”

Vince McMahon has firmly decided never to use EC3 to his full potential ever again after the former NXT star failed to receive cheers from the crowd during his feud with heel Dean Ambrose who was about to quit WWE.

Michael Hunter Hutter got rid of his Derrick Bateman gimmick and evolved into EC3 in TNA. For 5 years, he used to be the top star in TNA/Impact and was seen as a potential main event Superstar in WWE. Despite having the physique and mic skills of a champion, it’s a pity to see WWE treating EC3 so harshly and denying him a second chance whatsoever.
