WWE’s inaugural pay-per-view of 2020, Royal Rumble takes place on January 27th and the company is yet to announce the official card.

Brock Lesnar has been on a hiatus ever since his successful WWE Championship defense against Rey Mysterio in a No Holds Barred match at Survivor Series. The Beast is now scheduled for an appearance on the first RAW of the new year.

Cagesideseats is reporting that Lesnar’s opponent will be announced on the upcoming episode of Monday Night RAW tonight.

“The word is we’ll likely know Brock Lesnar’s Royal Rumble opponent by the end of Raw tonight.”

As previously reported, WWE has planned three opponents for The Beast at Royal Rumble, namely, Cain Velasquez, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens.

Let’s see which Superstar falls victim to Lesnar on January 27th.

“The Fiend” Bray Wyatt has made Superstars like Finn Balor, Daniel Bryan, The Miz, Seth Rollins adopt character traits from their early careers, and fans have begun speculating which Superstar is next in line to receive the strange treatment.

The latest rumors and early betting odds list Roman Reigns as the undisputed favorite to challenge The Fiend for the Universal Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 36. However, there’s more to it than that.

According to Sportskeeda’s Tom Colohue, Reigns is likely to headline the Show Of Shows but there also lies the possibility of The Big Dog turning heel should he lose to the masked monster.

“I am confident it’s going to be The Fiend in the main event and I am confident it’s going to be against Roman Reigns. And if Roman Reigns loses, are we going to see a heel Roman after so many years when they [the fans] finally like him as a face?”

Reigns has been the most polarising Superstar in the last 5 years, but a defeat at the hands of The Fiend at ‘Mania is quite unlikely given WWE plans to end Wyatt’s undefeated streak and The Big Dog happens to be the perfect man for the job.
