Chelsea Green recently made her main roster debut as part of the Women’s Survivor Series qualifying match last week as part of SmackDown.
Green was injured in the match and it was later confirmed that she had broken her arm and would be out of action for an unconfirmed amount of time.
Green was initially set to win the match and qualify for Survivor Series but her injury meant that Liv Morgan was forced to step in and pick up the victory.
Ahead of Green’s debut, it was reported that the former NXT star was part of a meeting with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. Details of the meeting were not disclosed, but Fightful is now reporting that there was a plan to change Green’s name to “Victorious.”
“There were some concerns raised by some within the company that there could be trademark issues in making that happen. Both Green and ‘Victorious’ appeared on the internal rundowns.”
It is currently unknown as to whether or not Green will undergo a name change before she makes her return to the company following her current injury.
It appears that there are currently some creative discussions regarding a name change since the star currently wrestles under her real name.
