Details on AEW’s Partnership With Impact Wrestling

On AEW Dynamite Winter Is Coming, Kenny Omega faced off Jon Moxley for the AEW Championship. The last time these two wrestlers crossed each other’s path, it was Moxley who won the battle.

This week on Dynamite, however, Moxley vs Omega ended with a cliffhanger. Impact Wrestling’s Executive Don Callis helped Kenny to win his first World Championship in AEW.

Later, he announced that Omega would show up at Impact Wrestling next week. Most fans believe that it’s the beginning of a partnership between Impact and AEW.

In the recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that Callis was the one who pitched the idea of Omega showing up on Impact. Meltzer also said that “the Callis thing has been in the works for a while.”

These two wrestling promotions “are going to be working together to a degree” and only time will tell if this alliance would benefit both companies or not.

As of now, AEW is the biggest threat to WWE and a partnership with Impact Wrestling would only strengthen Tony Khan’s All Elite.
