Eric Bischoff and Paul Heyman Are Reportedly “Major Executives” In WWE, Responsible For Brand Management

WWE’s new Executive Directors Of RAW and SmackDown, Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff (respectively) are in the office and it’s a matter of time before the overall WWE product becomes enjoyable once again.

Heyman and Bischoff hold the same position but for respective brands, and that’s enough to make their jobs largely differ from each other’s.

The Heyman Era has already begun but the same can’t be said for Bischoff right now. The former WCW icon is yet to fully get accustomed to WWE’s way of doing business and that’s going to take a while.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that both Heyman and Bischoff are not only just Executive Directors on paper, but they’re also “major executives” in WWE, positioned well above the rest.

They are positioned higher than anyone previously in regard to running Raw and Smackdown and are considered major executives in the company responsible for brand management of the respective brands.

As previously reported, both Executive Directors will be in charge of merchandise ideas and media relationships.

Heyman and Bischoff both possess enormous experience in the pro wrestling business, thus making them priceless treasures in WWE. However, with Vince McMahon still in control of everything, it would be interesting to see exactly how much freedom the CEO is willing to hand out to the two icons going forward.

So far, Heyman has impressed the WWE Universe with his trademark work on Monday Night RAW. The product has gotten edgier and fans are again willing to sit through the entire 3-hour-long show.

Bischoff is yet to make a first impression, but now that he has taken office, fans are optimistic about the future of SmackDown Live.

Only time will reveal how much power Heyman and Bischoff will be able to exercise in WWE with mastermind McMahon at the helm.
