Eric Bischoff Set to Make His All Elite Wrestling Debut

Eric Bischoff will be appearing on All Elite Wrestling next week as a special guest host between a segment between Chris Jericho and Orange Cassidy.

The former WCW President worked with WWE until last year when he was unceremoniously fired from his post as Executive Director of SmackDown, being replaced by Bruce Pritchard.

The episode of Dynamite for next week was already taped this Thursday, and a Reddit user named SpaceForce1 dropped the big news in his latest post. This is the same user who revealed the entire Fyter Fest Night Two results a few weeks ago.

Eric Bischoff served as WWE’s rival for several years before jumping ship to become General Manager on RAW. Bischoff also had a stint with TNA as the Executive Producer, before returning to WWE.

It is unclear whether AEW will be using Bischoff as a permanent figure going forward. Bischoff has experience of winning the Monday Night Wars for a long time, so he can be of great help to AEW in winning the ‘Wednesday Night Wars’.

AEW President Tony Khan recently praised Bischoff on a podcast with Conrad Thompson, with Khan mentioning Bischoff’s work with WCW as the gateway for All Elite Wrestling to come into existence.
