Erick Rowan and Thunder Rosa to Make Their AEW Debuts Next Week?

All Elite Wrestling has been on a signing spree in recent weeks, with several names from WWE’s recent releases joining their roster in the past month.

Matt Cardona, Taynara Conti and long-term WWE referee Mike Chioda joined the promotion recently and it seems like former WWE Tag Team Champion Erick Rowan is headed to Dynamite next.

AEW taped next week’s episode in advance this week, and with several fans in attendance for the show, leaks were bound to happen. One fan reportedly leaked the ending of the TNT Championship Match between Cody and Mr.Brodie Lee and said that Rowan, now known as Joseph Rudd, helped his former Wyatt Family partner to capture the title.

Apparently a masked figure made his way to the ring during the match and later revealed himself to be Rowan. Lee and Rowan worked together for a long time in WWE, initially as part of the Wyatt Family and later as Bludgeon Brothers. The duo had a short reunion before Lee was released from the company late last year.

Another rumored debut for the show is Thunder Rosa, who challenged Hikaru Shida for the AEW Women’s Title at All Out on September 5th. Rosa has great experience in the wrestling business and she is currently working with National Wrestling Alliance.

AEW has signed the likes of Anna Jay, Abadon, Eddie Kingston, etc. from the independent scene recently as well.

With their women’s roster depleted due to the absence of stars like Riho, Britt Baker, Kris Statlander, etc. this might be AEW’s fix for a proper challenger for Shida.
