Chris Jericho’s second annual Rock N Wrestling cruise festival is officially underway as AEW prepares to present the pre-taped matches from the Bahamas on Dynamite tonight.
PWInsider reports that Wednesday’s TNT show will be a mixture of matches from the cruise and content that was taped in Miami the previous week.
“Tomorrow’s episode of AEW Dynamite will be split between content on the Chris Jericho Cruise and material pre-taped last week in Miami with two different sets of announcers.”
On Wrestling Observer Live, Dave Meltzer reported that AEW is taking special measures to ensure Dynamite airs in its regular time slot, and to prevent any mishap, the company has made the decision of transporting two master tapes via two separate airplanes to the TNT headquarters in US.
“So they’re taping on Tuesday and they’re actually taking — there’s two masters — and they’re taking two separate airplanes to airplanes just in case the Iranians shoot down the planes the show will still air on Wednesday in its time slot.”
Le Champion has officially announced that the third cruise event, “Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager at Sea: Triple Whammy” will set sail from February 1, 2021, through February 5, 2021.
