“Huge News” Teased Ahead Of WWE Backstage Premiere

WWE Backstage will make its debut on FS1 on Tuesday, November 5th, and it appears that there will be a huge guest on hand as part of the show.

WWE On Fox’s Twitter account recently shared a video of Renee Young where she was seen rehearsing with co-host Booker T and it seems that Samoa Joe will be one of the guests. Young confirmed on the video that there will be “a very big deal” announced ahead of the show’s debut as well as the fact that John Cena‘s part in the show will be as part of a pre-taped message.

The former Raw commentator went into detail about the show’s structure for next week as part of the video while also ensuring that WWE fans will be tuning in.

“Guys, we are here doing our final, final rehearsals as we are getting set to go live, for real, for real, with WWE Backstage. So, it’s all happening on Tuesday, November 5 at 11 pm ET. We are going to be up, for real, for real. This means we are going to be live every single week. You guys don’t want to miss it. We’re going to have a taped message from John Cena, The Gronk (Rob Gronkowski) is going to be checking in to see what’s going on, and for our very first guest, huge news, it’s going to be announced on Friday Night SmackDown. It’s a very big deal. I promise you don’t want to miss it. See you guys on Tuesday!”

There’s no word yet on who this guest might be, but if rumors are to be believed, CM Punk is the main name that has been in the hat ever since the story leaked. Either way, this guest will be officially announced this Friday night on SmackDown, so it’s an episode you don’t want to miss.
