AEW Inner Circle member Jake Hager is reportedly set to have his first match for the company during AEW Revolution.

Hager, who was formerly known as Jack Swagger in the WWE, is also a mixed martial artist will Bellator. He debuted on AEW last October, coming in as a bodyguard for the current AEW Heavyweight champion Chris Jericho.

While he has been appearing on TV as part of Jericho’s Inner Circle, he has yet to see in-ring action in AEW. The reason being given is that there was an agreement between Hager and Bellator that he wouldn’t have a wrestling match until after his next scheduled MMA match.

Hager had a match with Anthony Garret during Bellator 231 held last October 5. The match ended in a no-contest decision. There has yet to be another fight announced from him at Bellator so it is likely that he’s free to wrestle now.

It is being reported by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Hager is indeed going to wrestle in AEW soon, likely during the AEW Revolution event.

Hager’s reported opponent is likely to be Luchasaurus. The two have been involved in a couple of brawls on AEW Dynamite episodes and it is likely that they will eventually settle things in the ring.

AEW Revolution is AEW’s next scheduled pay-per-view event, it will take place on February 29 at the Sears Center in Chicago, Illinois. Current AEW Champion Jericho is set to defend against Jon Moxley, so even if it turns out that he isn’t going to wrestle, Hager is likely to be in his corner during the event.
