NJPW star and Bullet Club leader Jay White is reportedly still being advertised for events in March.
White has sparked intense speculation that he is going to leave NJPW for either AEW or WWE following his loss to Kota Ibushi at Wrestle Kingdom 15.
White cut a promo after the loss stating that his “efforts” in NJPW were wasted and that he would be leaving the company.
NJPW itself fueled talk about White’s imminent departure after taking down his profile earlier this week.
However, according to a report from Wrestling Observer Newsletter, NJPW has not removed references to White from future NJPW events. They are reporting that White is still being advertised for an event at Budokan Hall in March.
Super-J Cup is also reporting that White is being advertised for the New Japan Cup, which takes place in mid-march. Meanwhile, Kakuto is reporting that he is part of a show in Korakuen Hall, also in March.
Super-J Cup previously reported that White’s contract is up at the end of this month and it was “50/50” whether he would stay in Japan afterward.
Unless the March appearances are taken down soon, it would seem that White might be set to stay with NJPW for two more months.
