It was rumored last month that WWE was going to bring back former star Eva Marie. The 2013 Diva Search winner made an impact in WWE throughout her four years in the company, before she was released back in 2017.
Marie has since moved on to a career in acting and shares the same agent as WWE legend The Rock. That being said, Marie has been outspoken in recent months about her desire to return to WWE and challenge Bayley.
PWinsider reported that WWE had re-signed Eva Marie back in September and that she was expected to return to the company immanently, but her return is still yet to happen.
In the latest update regarding the former Total Divas star, Ringsidenews reports that the former star’s name hasn’t been brought up in creative meetings lately.
Marie’s inexperience in the ring was the issue for The Red Queen throughout her first run in WWE, and it appears that this could be the problem if she was to make a return. Marie hasn’t wrestled a match since she left WWE back in 2017, and that was a year after her last appearance.
it’s believed that if Marie makes her competitive return then she would be quite far behind the current crop of women.
