Matt Riddle Reportedly Offered New WWE Contract Worth $400,000

Recently, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter revealed that Matt Riddle’s contract is up in August 2021. He signed a three-year contract with WWE in 2018.

Meltzer revealed that WWE is negotiating a new contract with The Original Bro. According to Meltzer, Riddle has agreed to a new contract which includes $400,000 per year and an additional $50,000 for Saudi Arabia pay-per-views.

“It’s said he’s pretty much agreed to terms for a three-year deal at $400,000 per year guaranteed plus $50,000 for every show in Saudi Arabia.”

Reportedly, Vince McMahon likes Riddle and wants to push him. Although the boss doesn’t see him as a future main-event wrestler, he still believes that Matt should appear on Raw every week.

It remains to be seen if Matt would re-sign with the company or not. August is still a few months away but WWE has a habit of renewing contracts way earlier so that they could map out things for the future.
