More WWE Superstars Reportedly Tested Positive for COVID-19

Yesterday, WWE announced that Drew McIntyre has tested positive for COVID-19. Despite that, the WWE Champion made an appearance on the show, via a pretaped recording.

On the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about WWE wrestlers missing Monday Night Raw.

Meltzer revealed that four more superstars including McIntyre were tested positive for COVID-19. One of those stars was supposed to show up on SmackDown, but those plans were nixed.

“So there’s at least four, including Drew McIntyre, WWE wrestlers that I’m aware of that have, or just got over COVID-19 and there may be more. Those are the only names I know and there was one on SmackDown who was scheduled on the show and taken off. There’s one who’s a big star who just returned from COVID, and there’s another one in NXT. There are probably others who will be kept out for contact tracing I’m going to guess.”
