Last night on Monday Night Raw, Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose were both replaced in the Women’s Survivor Series team just six days before the show.
Mandy Rose was written out of the show in a storyline by Shayna Baszler when she had her injured arm stamped on while on the steel steps. This was because Rose had suffered a legitimate shoulder injury the week before when she was thrown out of the ring by Nia Jax.
Dana Brooke was then later seen backstage holding her shoulder before she was attacked by Reckoning. Brooke was then written out of the match as well, but according to PWInsider, Brooke isn’t legitimately injured, she has been written out of the match in order for both Lacey Evans and Peyton Royce to be added back in.
Evans and Royce have recently had a back and forth on Twitter and have made it clear that they are not happy being part of a team, which could be entertaining at Survivor Series.
This also opens the door for future challengers for the Women’s Tag Team Championships, since Rose and Brooke will want to come after Baszler and Jax when they are cleared to make their return.
At present, it’s unknown why Reckoning was brought into the storyline, but there was a throwaway explanation last night on Raw where the star formerly known as Mia Yim stated that she was always one step ahead of her enemies.
