New Reports Suggest That Big E vs Roman Reigns isn’t Happening at WrestleMania 37

During the WWE Draft, the company split The New Day because they wanted to push Big E as a singles wrestler. Some time ago, it was reported that Big E could end up main eventing WrestleMania with Roman Reigns.

There were rumors that The Rock will face his cousin next year at WrestleMania, but according to Ringside News, it’s very unlikely to happen. They also exclusively reported that there aren’t any plans for Big E vs Reigns at WrestleMania 37.

A source reported to RingsideNews that Big E was never “mentioned as a WrestleMania opponent” for The Big Dog and that the ongoing rumor was “pulled out of thin air.”

It’s been also reported that at Tables, Ladders, and Chairs (TLC), the former New Day member could get a match against Sami Zayn’s Intercontinental Championship.

It’s been a long time since Big E won a singles title in WWE. He held the Intercontinental Title only once in his career and that happened six years ago in 2014.

If WWE is serious about pushing him, they might make him the new champion at the upcoming pay-per-view.
