Over the past few months, The ThunderDome at the Amway Center has served as the home for WWE’s main roster shows, RAW and SmackDown.
The original contract allowed WWE to be at the Amway Center until the end of October but both parties then worked out an extension deal to enable the billion-dollar promotion to tape its shows until November-end.
During the recent investors call, WWE CFO Kristina Salen noted that there would be ‘some kind of center for the foreseeable future’ and it would continue into 2021. It was further added that WWE has several places to choose from if they have to leave the Amway Center.
According to Wrestle Votes, WWE is all set to leave the ThunderDome on the 1st of December, and arenas in North Carolina, Texas and Illinois have been considered as their next home.
A report from Jon Alba suggests that WWE’s existing contract with the Amway Center runs through 24th November officially.
