WWE Royal Rumble takes place in just two weeks time and will see Brock Lesnar step into the match at the number one spot but while a number of names including Rey Mysterio, Ricochet, Roman Reigns, and King Corbin have all been announced for the match, it’s the surprise additions that the WWE Universe is most looking forward to.

The women will once again be given the chance to take center stage when they are part of their third consecutive Rumble match and a number of names have already been revealed including Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and Nikki Cross.

When it comes to returnees there are many fans who believe that Ruby Riott and Nia Jax will be surprise entrants in the match, but a report by Sportskeeda’s Tom Colohue on Dropkick DiSKussions seems to state otherwise.

“She has been recording some backstage WWE documentary stuff which is leading to her return which is expected to be moderately soon – probably not as soon as the Royal Rumble. And I don’t think they will involve her in the build to WrestleMania either because there’ll be a lot of focus on the main stars. However, I think a very realistic target for Nia Jax would be the Women’s WrestleMania Battle Royal. I think that would be a good place for her to return. She could dominate that and potentially win it and that would be a good way to get her back in the system.”

The Men’s Royal Rumble match is also making headlines since many fans believe that WWE Hall of Famer Edge will be one of the surprise additions to the match. WrestleZone’s Bill Pritchard recently stated that he believes Edge will make his long-awaited return as part of the annual match.

“A source speaking with Wrestlezone recently said Edge will make his in-ring return, and we can expect to see him as an entrant in the 2020 Men’s Royal Rumble match,” via WrestlingNewsSource.
