Nikki Cross has already been announced as one of the women representing Team SmackDown this year at Survivor Series, but it was well known that the former Women’s Tag Team Champion’s contract was due to expire in the coming months.

According to a report by Squared Circle Sirens, Cross recently signed a new multi-year contract, but the specifics of the deal are not yet known. The former NXT star initially signed with WWE back in April 2016 after attending London tryout’s the year before and was stationed on the NXT brand as part of Sanity until she was called up to the main roster back in January.

Cross has been the subject of quite a push over the past few months while Alexa Bliss has been dealing with injury but the team is expected to remain together when the former Women’s Champion makes her return to the company in the near future.

Over on Monday Night Raw, Lana‘s controversial angle with Bobby Lashley and Rusev continued again this week with The Ravishing Russian confirming that she had filed for divorce and obtained a restraining order against her husband.

While explaining the grounds of the restraining order, Lana stated that Rusev wasn’t allowed within 90 miles of her before correcting this to 90 feet. It was thought that Lana had botched her lines, but Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer obtained a copy of the script and stated that Lana was supposed to say 90 miles before being corrected by Bobby Lashley.

Lana did infact botch her lines since she went on to say 90 days rather than 90 feet, but her initial botch was one that she was supposed to say. Thich could be why she was so quick to cover it up in front of the audience by stating that she was flustered when she was around Lashley.
