The NXT Great American Bash featured a main event that saw then NXT Champion Adam Cole take on NXT North American Champion Keith Lee.
While the match was great, it was pre-taped as most matches are now, due to COVID-19 precautions. As a result, the ending was spoiled by an NXT talent on social media.
Saurav Gurjar, who wrestles on NXT in the tag team Indus Sher with Rinku Singh, spoiled the match with an Instagram photo posted before it aired. The photo showed Lee standing tall in the ring holding both belts while confetti falls and pyro goes off around him.
According to Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp, Gurjar has since apologized for spoiling the results of the match.
While the report says that there is no significant heat on Gurjar and he has not been punished – nor is he expected to be punished – neither he nor his tag team partner has been mentioned or featured since.
Gurjar, who is Indian born, signed with WWE back in January 2018. He had television debut on the Worlds Collide battle royal the next year. Indus Sher is currently managed by Malcolm Bivens and they debuted on the March 25 episode of NXT this year.
