Paul Heyman Could Be Lying About Brock Lesnar’s MITB Cash-In At Extreme Rules

The Beast hasn't appeared on TV since WWE Super ShowDown

The latest edition of Monday Night RAW featured a trademark “spoiler” promo from Paul Heyman – not as the Executive Director of the red brand, but as The Advocate of Mr. Money In The Bank Brock Lesnar.

Heyman declared that Lesnar will be cashing in his Money In The Bank briefcase this Sunday at Extreme Rules. The only question is who he will be cashing in against – Universal Champion Seth Rollins or WWE Champion Kofi Kingston?

Dave Meltzer discussed the matter on Wrestling Observer Radio highlighting the underlying lie in Heyman’s words. The Beast hasn’t appeared on TV since Super ShowDown and there’s a very thin possibility of him showing up at Extreme Rules given his presence at SummerSlam will be much more meaningful.

“That goes to the old save your lies thing. Like tell the truth all the time and then when you need to lie, lie because people will believe you because you’ve been telling the truth for so many years.”

The Advocate has laid down plenty of spoilers in the past but this time he seems to be teasing an illusive idea.

At Extreme Rules, Rollins will be teaming up with Becky Lynch to take on Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans in a mixed tag team match with both the Universal Title and the RAW Women’s Title on the line.

Kingston has an equally challenging task as he will be defending the WWE Championship against Samoa Joe in singles action this Sunday at the Wells Fargo Center.

It’s possible that Lesnar will be showing up on Sunday night for a brief appearance. However, don’t expect him to be involved in the action – just a mere non-physical appearance to remind the champs that he’s still around, and just in case he gets physical, expect another thwarting from The Beastslayer with whom he has unfinished business.
