Plans for Roman Reigns vs Daniel Bryan Reportedly Moved to a Later Date

Daniel Bryan returned to SmackDown a few weeks ago but was immediately written off for some time after a post-match beatdown by Jey Uso on-demand on Roman Reigns.

Bryan defeated Jey Uso following his return on SmackDown last week. However, the two still might have some business left unfinished to take care of.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the current plan is to pit Daniel Bryan against Roman Reigns at the TLC pay-per-view.

However, he also noted that the company is leaning towards a later date. If that’s the case, then WWE could book a final match between Jey Uso and Daniel Bryan at TLC which would then set up a future contest between Bryan and Reigns.

The Big Dog faced Drew McIntyre in a Champion vs Champion match at Survivor Series. It was the highlight of the night where Reigns’ cousin, Jey Uso, helped him pick up a victory against the WWE Champion.
