Randy Orton is nearing two decades on WWE programming and the Viper has achieved everything that a superstar can hope for in the company. Orton even earned the tag of ‘Greatest Wrestler Ever’ after defeating Edge at Backlash earlier this month.
Orton is reportedly looking to help the upcoming stars of the company, by feuding with certain top stars from WWE NXT.
Orton has often expressed his hate for the independent scene, which makes this a surprising revelation, as Wednesday nights are filled with prominent names from the indie scene.
WrestleTalk reported that Orton is planning to move to the Full Sail University to work with stars like Tommaso Ciampa and NXT Champion Adam Cole.
“Our sources tell us that Randy Orton has thrown about the idea of working with some of NXT’s roster, with Ciampa being one of the people he would be keen to work with. We’ve also heard that other names such as Adam Cole have been discussed.”
Orton recently got in a Twitter beef with Ciampa, after Orton disrespected the NXT performers post Takeover: In Your House. It was reported that there were no plans for a feud between the duo, but it seems like Orton is using his star-power to make things happen.
Orton is currently punting stars into oblivion, after taking out Edge and Christian on consecutive nights. He got into a war of words with Big Show this past Monday, who seems to be his next victim.
