<p>For two weeks in a row, WWE Champion <strong>Brock Lesnar</strong> has appeared on Monday Night RAW which is quite unusual for a man of his nature &#8211; The Beast only makes a handful of appearances on the red brand annually, and given his avid part-time status, it’s quite surprising to see him on the show for two consecutive weeks.</p>



<p><a href="https://www.sportskeeda.com/wwe/reason-why-brock-lesnar-returned-to-wwe-raw-again-this-week" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label="Sportskeeda (opens in a new tab)">Sportskeeda</a>’s Tom Colohue reports that the reason why Lesnar showed up on the latest edition of RAW was to advance the build for the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, but there’s more than meets the eye.</p>



<blockquote class="wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow"><p>&#8220;The segment this week with <strong>Brock Lesnar</strong> was designed for a singular purpose. The reason he was here this week was to further that singular purpose and that is to get as much heat as possible on Brock Lensar because the more you hate someone, the more you cheer when they&#8217;re eliminated from The Royal Rumble. And it gets to a point where I want you to think back to 2017 Royal Rumble when <strong>Roman Reigns</strong> came in at number 30 and everyone was furious.&#8221;</p></blockquote>



<p>The Beast is the first entrant in the Men’s Rumble match and rumors suggest that Cain Velasquez could be coming in at #2 to get a piece of his arch-rival.</p>



<blockquote class="wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow"><p>&#8220;The reason they did that was because you had big names like <strong>The Undertaker</strong>, <strong>Goldberg</strong>, <strong>Brock</strong> <strong>Lesnar</strong> in that match and it was <strong>Randy Orton</strong> who would be winning it, who fell a level below. They wanted to ensure Randy Orton got a nice pop so they built up Roman as a massive heel going into that match so that when he was eliminated, everybody cheered. That is exactly what I think is going to happen this time.&#8221;</p></blockquote>



<p>It’s very unlikely for Lesnar to emerge victorious on January 26th. For what it’s worth, whoever eliminates The Beast stands a chance to challenge him at WrestleMania 36.</p>
