Renee Young was once a backstage interviewer on WWE’s main roster before she was promoted to become WWE’s first-ever full-time female commentator. Young admitted later that she didn’t enjoy her time on commentary after she left the spot and instead became the host of WWE Backstage.
Despite no longer being part of WWE’s current product, Young obviously still keeps up with the Women’s Division and following Bayley‘s successful title defense at WrestleMania the Champion noted that she thought Renee Young would be in the match, which allowed Young to respond by claiming that she is ready for Bayley.
Of course, Young isn’t a wrestler, the closest she has come to wrestling in WWE was when she was part of the storyline between The Miz and Dean Ambrose a number of years ago and even then she wasn’t used physically.
Despite this, it appears that Bayley is open to any kind of challenge for her Championship and responded to the Tweet to tell former SmackDown General Manager Paige to make it official. The British star was the one who made the Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania official, and this could be a hint that she could be returning to WWE screens in an authority role again.
While Young and Bayley look for a way to settle their differences, one match that has been on the minds of the WWE Universe ever since 2014 is the dream match between Undertaker and Sting. The former WCW legend made his way to WWE back in 2014 and was part of a handful of matches for the rival promotion before he was sidelined through injury the following year and then added to the Hall of Fame.
This weekend at WrestleMania The Deadman was part of a Boneyard match against AJ Styles that allowed the company to play to his strengths and because it was pre-recorded it took around eight hours to shoot in full.
The match made Undertaker look like the star he once was rather than the man he has since evolved into and now it’s believed that Sting could return to allow the two men to finally have the showdown that fans have been waiting for.
The pre-recorded element of the match also means that it definitely will not disappoint and that the two men have all the time in the world to put together a show-stealing bout.
