Ricochet has recently been part of a feud with RETRIBUTION on Monday Night Raw, but he was one of the stars who were notably absent from this week’s show.
It was later revealed that Ricochet was backstage for Raw but wasn’t actually used.
While discussing the former Champion on The Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez revealed that Ricochet signed a three-year deal back in 2018 and is yet to sign a new one.
The One and Only has been moved to the main roster in that time and has since made quite an impact and become a popular star with the WWE Universe.
It was noted that Ricochet signed his deal back in January 2018 along with the likes of Candice LeRae and Erik and Ivar from The Viking Raiders. This means that if Ricochet doesn’t re-sign, then he could leave WWE much sooner than expected.
WrestleVotes reported back in September that there was one current star who had opted to not re-sign and Ricochet was the name that was rumored. Despite shutting down these rumors, it’s something that has remained in the minds of the WWE Universe.
Ricochet recently cut an emotional promo on an episode of Raw Talk regarding his future. It will be interesting to see if the high flyer decides to re-sign in the coming weeks.
