As we’ve reported earlier, the Miz has been pulled off the WrestleMania 36 card because he was sick while Roman Reigns decided not to wrestle as a precaution as his leukemia has left him with a compromised immune system.
Newer reports, however, are surfacing that the Miz didn’t call in sick but actually showed up at the Performance Center before being sent home – and this upset Roman Reigns and his cousins the Usos.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Radio, Reigns had actually showed up at the Performance Center ready to tape his match against Goldberg. However, when he heard the Miz was sick, he then made the decision to not push through with the taping and leave.
According to Meltzer, the Uso’s were also very upset that The Miz had shown up at the Performance Center sick. Given as they are Reigns’ cousins, this is not surprising.
Meanwhile, PWInsider is reporting that Murphy was also absent from both the RAW and WrestleMania tapings.
Murphy, who is Seth Rollins‘ “disciple”, was not cleared to appear in the tapings. It has not been confirmed if he is now in quarantine like Dana Brooke and Rey Mysterio.
Meanwhile, Rezar of the Authors of Pain, yet another of Rollins’ disciples has been sidelined due to an injury.
Rezar is believed to have been injured during an eight-man tag match between the AOP, Rollins, Murphy and The Street Profits and The Viking Raiders on RAW earlier in March.
Now, the Wrestling Observer Radio has reported that Rezar has a torn right bicep and has had surgery to repair it. That sort of injury usually takes seven or eight months to heal.
According to reports, WWE doesn’t plan to use Rezar’s AOP teammate Akam while he is out of action. If this is true, this means that Seth Rollins will either be on his own when he takes on Kevin Owens at WrestleMania or he could be revealing a new disciple on either the shows leading up to it or during WrestleMania itself.
