Since his shocking return at the end of SummerSlam, Roman Reigns has not just become the WWE Universal Champion, but also one of the most dominant heels in the company with his “Tribal Chief” and “Head of the Table” persona.
One of the most shocking aspects of his return was the fact that he had Paul Heyman at his side.
While Heyman has been less verbose on-screen, he has been an advisor to the Tribal Chief than he has previously been to others such as Brock Lesnar, and he’s apparently still responsible for a lot of what is being said in the storyline.
According to PWInsider, many of the promos that Reigns has been delivering as the Head of the Table have been written by Heyman himself.
They are also reporting that Reigns’ rise has also been getting help from another industry veteran, Michael Hayes. Reigns’ matches on the big pay-per-views have been produced “personally” by Hayes.
Reigns is set to defend the WWE Universal Championship during this Sunday’s TLC pay-per-view. He will be defending the championship against Kevin Owens, who has been questioning both Reigns’ dominance as a champion and his relationship with his family as the Tribal Chief.
