Ronda Rousey’s WWE Contract Expires in Several Months But She Could Still Appear at WrestleMania

Ronda Rousey hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since WrestleMania 34 when the former Women’s Championship lost her main event match to Becky Lynch.

It was believed that Rousey was taking some time away from the company to start a family and would then return to take on Lynch in the future.

Instead, Becky Lynch is currently on maternity leave while Rousey is yet to make any kind of return to the ring in almost two years.

The former UFC Champion’s contract expires in April 2021 which means that Rousey has a shot at appearing at WrestleMania 37 next year, but would need to sign a new contract if the company wanted to open up more dates.

“Ronda Rousey is under contract with WWE until April 10, 2021. Whether she wants to start a family is a private matter,” a WWE spokesperson noted.

There have been many rumors surrounding Ronda Rousey making a WWE return in the future but as of yet, this has not come to fruition.
