Sasha Banks has been out on the sidelines ever since Hell in a Cell pay-per-view earlier this month when it was reported that the former Women’s Champion had suffered a tailbone injury in her match against Becky Lynch for the Raw Women’s Championship inside Hell in a Cell.
Banks was drafted to SmackDown last Friday night, was pulled from her match against Becky Lynch on Monday night because of the injury and was later replaced by Charlotte Flair who went on to lose the match to Lynch.
Despite not being cleared to wrestle on Monday Night, reports from PWInsider suggest that Sasha Banks will be part of tomorrow’s episode of SmackDown which is live from Indianapolis.
Sasha Banks isn’t the only female wrestler making the news at present since Alicia Fox wasn’t drafted as part of the initial WWE Draft on TV and wasn’t one of the free agents that were moved to a brand after the cameras finished rolling.
It was reported by numerous media outlets earlier today that the former Total Divas star’s profile was moved over to the Alumni section of WWE’s official website, which could be a hint that Fox is finally done with WWE.
The former Divas Champion has been contracted to WWE for more than a decade after being signed by WWE back in 2006, but her last WWE appearance was on an episode of Raw back in April where she was defeated by Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, who was hot of the heels of her WrestleMania main event victory over Ronda Rousey.
Alicia Fox is one of a number of women including Maryse, Maria Kanellis, as well as Nikki and Brie Bella who were a throwback to the old Divas Division, and if she’s left WWE then it’s the end of an era for the company.
