Seth Rollins’ SmackDown Return Nixed?

Seth Rollins has been away from WWE TV since Survivor Series when it was revealed that The Messiah had gone on paternity leave ahead of the birth of his first child.

Rollins was last seen when he was eliminated from the Survivor Series elimination match by Sheamus when he seemingly sacrificed himself for the greater good.

Becky Lynch later announced the arrival of the couple’s first child on December 7th, and the couple has since enjoyed their first Christmas as a trio.

Rollins wasn’t expected to spend a long time on the sidelines and has since been advertised to make his WWE return on the first episode of SmackDown in 2021.

Interestingly, over the past few days, it appears that the plans for Rollins’ return could have changed since WWE on FOX has deleted all of the Tweets referencing the return of The Messiah.

WWE’s SmackDown preview also failed to mention the former World Champion, when he should be seen as headline news.

It’s unknown what the reason could be for the late change, but as of writing, it doesn’t seem as though The Monday Night Messiah will be making his return on the New Year’s Day episode of SmackDown tomorrow night.
