Survivor Series main-event has been in the news in recent weeks for all the wrong reasons, and it seems like there are new stories emerging each passing day. It was reported earlier that Vince McMahon was unhappy with how the main-event played out, and even the crowd seemed massively disinterested in the triple-threat match.

According to Fightful Select, there were major communication issues between the producers, which led to a messy matchup. It was reported that Vince McMahon himself tried to call an audible and change the flow of the match mid-way through the encounter.

“Adam Pearce and Sarah Stock produced the WWE Survivor Series main event match between Becky Lynch, Shayna Baszler, Bayley match. We’re told that there was a struggle to communicate from backstage to what was going on in the ring, but weren’t told if that had to do with some kind of equipment malfunction or otherwise”

The producers are usually responsible for communicating to the ring-officials on how the match is supposed to go down, and these unknown issues could’ve led to the three women producing a sloppy encounter in the end.

Every match is assigned a different producer, and this matchup saw Adam Pearce, who is usually seen running down to the ring during brawls, and Sarah Stock, who also works as an NXT Trainer, as the brains behind the main-event.

Vince McMahon is known to be a perfectionist, and these problems would’ve surely made his head spin around in frustration. The problems weren’t described clearly, but it could be pertaining to the producers not being able to communicate with the referee.

It’s not the end of the world though, as Becky Lynch and Shayna Baszler will reportedly lock horns at WrestleMania next year, provided Ronda Rousey doesn’t make it back in time for the showpiece event.
