“The Fiend” Bray Wyatt Could Face Brock Lesnar Or Roman Reigns At WrestleMania 36

The Fiend defends his title against Daniel Bryan this Sunday at Survivor Series

Reigning Universal Champion “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt is the hottest Superstar in WWE today – not only does he sport a dual personality, but his character also runs the danger of turning top babyfaces into wimpy heels.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed WWE’s possible plans for Wyatt. The Fiend is being groomed for a top spot on the roster and it won’t be long before he becomes the next face of the company.

Brock is stuck with Paul [Heyman] and because of Brock, Paul and Vince [McMahon] it is always planned out in advance. We probably should be seeing hints of whatever [Lesnar’s direction] is pretty soon. I’m still thinking it might be Bray Wyatt although they’re different brands. Maybe that’s out of the question, but maybe it’s not. Even if it is out of the question today, it might not be out of the question in a month.”

WWE is definitely building Wyatt up for someone and it could be either Brock Lesnar or Roman Reigns. The stage? WrestleMania!

“If ratings go down then what decisions will they make at that point? They’re building Bray up for somebody. It certainly isn’t Daniel Bryan. It’s certainly not The Miz. I don’t think it’s Strowman. I guess it might be Roman. I mean it could be Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania. I could absolutely see that.”

“Those could be the two. I’d say it’s Bray Wyatt against either Roman Reigns or Brock Lesnar.”

It remains to be seen whether WWE can book The Fiend vs. The Big Dog or The Fiend vs. The Beast for WrestleMania 36. On one hand, most fans don’t want Wyatt’s winning streak to end while on the other, Roman or Brock losing to Wyatt doesn’t make any sense at all!

The Fiend will be defending the Universal Title against Daniel Bryan this Sunday at Survivor Series. While the booking itself is worthy of a 5-star rating, the sad part is that Bryan is being used as leverage. Moreover, the result is too predictable – the masked monster will be leaving the Allstate Arena as the undisputed champion.
