“The Fiend” Bray Wyatt will be defending the Universal Championship against Daniel Bryan this Sunday at WWE Survivor Series. Per betting odds, Wyatt is the favorite to stand tall over underdog Bryan at the pay-per-view. This shouldn’t come off as a surprise since Wyatt isn’t losing to anyone anytime soon.
The WWE Universe is high on Wyatt’s undefeated streak and doesn’t want to see the hottest Superstar suffering a loss in the near future. That’s definitely good news, but WWE ought to put an end to every streak in their history books.
WrestlingNews.co reports that The Fiend’s undefeated streak will continue through WrestleMania 36 until WWE finds a Superstar worthy enough to slay the masked monster.
”One WWE source who is close to the creative process told me that Wyatt will be in one of the main event matches at WrestleMania so expect to see his push continue and they are working on ways to keep him strong. The idea is to make sure he’s not pinned until they find the right person to beat him.”
As previously reported, Wyatt could face Brock Lesnar or Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. It doesn’t make any sense for The Fiend to emerge victorious over either of them, but at the same time, there’s every chance of WWE swerving us all and protecting the masked behemoth in the process.
Seth Rollins’ feud with Wyatt almost ruined his gimmick, turning The Beastslayer into a hated, whimsy, confused individual. Therefore, it’s in the best interest of WWE not to throw another top tier Superstar under the bus in order to put The Fiend over.
Wyatt will be walking into WrestleMania 36 with the Universal Title around his waist which makes it interesting to see whether WWE has any plans to crown a new champion at the starstudded Show Of Shows.
