Randy Orton did the unthinkable at TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs when he set The Fiend alight and left him to burn in the center of the ring.
This was one of the most shocking moments of the year, and unsurprisingly, The Fiend hasn’t been seen since.
Last night on Raw, Alexa Bliss was looking to join her long time friend and requested that The Viper set her on fire as well, but the episode ended on a cliffhanger.
RingSideNews is now reporting that this storyline is set to lead to another gimmick match between The Viper and The Fiend at the Royal Rumble next month.
Randy Orton and The Fiend have only had one match against each other in the past, but Orton has a history with Bray Wyatt after setting the Wyatt Family Compound alight back in 2017.
Orton was briefly a member of The Wyatt Family and even helped to win the SmackDown Tag Team Championships alongside Luke Harper and Bray Wyatt.
Over the past few weeks, Alexa Bliss has taken over the role of The Fiend and WWE has handed Bliss her own “playground”, but after the cliffhanger-ending to this week’s episode of Raw, it’s unknown what the future holds for Bliss and The Fiend.
